The joke must be on me but I'm not getting it.
I figured out that it was 8 weeks to the day (on June 1st) until my sister-in-law's wedding.
I estimated that an average loss of
2.5 pounds per week was reasonable to achieve a twenty pound weight loss (my current goal).
So I started portion controlling what I ate, limited sweets to only 2 chocolate chip cookies per day if I felt the need (I did until Friday) AND I worked out at least once per day all last week.
Much to my chagrin, each day I added a pound.
What the heck?! I'm shaking my head but trying not to let it get to me.
